    Common fault situations of wiring terminals

    The internal electrical conductor of the wiring terminal is the core component of the terminal, which will transmit the voltage, current, or signal from the external cable or cable to the contact corresponding to the corresponding connector. Therefore, the contact parts must have good structure, stable and firm contact resistance, and excellent conductive function. Due to unscientific structural planning, incorrect use of raw materials, unstable molds, machining size deviations, rough surfaces, unscientific surface processing techniques such as heat treatment and electroplating, improper assembly, harsh storage and application environments, and improper use, all of these factors require the collaboration of various parts of the contact part to form a poor contact.

    Poor insulation

    The insulation effect is to ensure that the contact parts are arranged in a consistent and appropriate position, and to isolate each other between the contact parts and the contact parts, as well as between the contact parts and the shell. Therefore, insulation components must have good electrical functions, mechanical capabilities, and processing and molding functions. Especially with the widespread use of high-density and miniaturized wiring terminals, the effective thickness of insulators is becoming thinner and thinner. This will put forward stricter standards for insulation materials, precision molding methods for plastic molds, etc. Due to the presence of unnecessary metal objects on the surface or inside of the insulator, surface dust, welding flux and other pollutants returning to moisture, organic material separation and harmful substance adsorption film melting with surface water film to form an ionic conductive channel, factors such as moisture, mold growth, aging of the insulation material, all of which can cause poor insulation conditions such as short circuit, leakage, breakdown, and poor grounding resistance.

    Poor fixation

    Insulators not only provide insulation effect, but also provide precise alignment and maintenance for protruding contact parts. In addition, they also have the function of equipment positioning, locking and fixing on the equipment. Poor fixation can easily affect the stability of the product, resulting in a momentary disconnection of the power supply. In severe cases, it can lead to brand disintegration. Disassembly refers to the serious danger of power transmission and signal control interruption in the automatic control system caused by the abnormal separation between the plug and socket formed by the loose construction of the wiring terminal due to raw materials, planning, processing technology, or other reasons when it is plugged in. Due to weak planning, incorrect material selection, improper selection of forming methods, poor quality of heat treatment processes, molds, equipment, welding, and other processes, and inadequate implementation of equipment, all of these can lead to poor fixation.
